This project arises directly from research conducted at King's College London over several years, into the monuments of medieval Cyprus by Tassos Papacostas (Centre for Hellenic Studies) and into the digital rendering of archaeological and geographical data by Stuart Dunn (Department of Digital Humanities); it has been developed at King's with the help and support of Neil Jakeman and Ginestra Ferraro (King's Digital Laboratory) and Charlotte Roueché (Centre for Hellenic Studies/Classics). The project was made possible by the support of the Leventis Foundation over a period of two years (2013-2014) and by the generous and collaborative help of colleagues at the University of Cyprus, the Department of Antiquities and elsewhere.
